I love this bubble art project I found at eHow!  I remember making bubble art when I was a kid, and it was so easy and fun!  I've got a couple of ideas that I want to try out with it too.  I'll add some pics when we get them done...

Paper Strip Hearts ~ Sugar Bee Crafts

I found these paper strip hearts at Sugar Bee Crafts.  I'm going to combine them with a Random Acts of Kindness assignment.  Students will be able to make a heart for every random act of kindness they do for someone else the week of Valentine's Day.  Hopefully our room will be raining hearts!  Pics to be shared later!

The Sneetches and Segregation: Short & Extended Response Activities - A Dr. Seuss inspired lesson for Black History Month

I found this great freebie at The Teacher Treasury!  Remember the Star-Belly Sneetches who discriminated against the Plain-Belly Sneetches?  I always loved this book and there are free critical thinking questions and response sheets to download to get your students thinking about segregation in America.  This is a great addition to our Black History Month activities!

Be sure to link up and share your best Pinterest finds for this month!
