My Camp Common Core Critical Verbs Bundle is a 96 page set that will prepare your students for Common Core and other assessments. It covers 37 critical verbs that are essential to test-taking success.
Included in the bundle are 37 word wall mini posters, a 37 page student packet where students evaluate their understanding of the terms, define and write sentences for each term as well as provide synonyms and a drawing that shows the meaning of the word. There is even a spot to record test question examples that use the critical verb. An answer key for the packet is also provided. Last but not least is an adorable banner to use on your word wall. My second deal of the day is one that brings back great memories from my childhood, my Grammar Rock Unit.
Your students will love learning and reviewing the parts of speech with this unit! It teaches or reviews verbs, nouns, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, pronouns, interjections, and conjunctions. For each part of speech covered you will find a lesson plan sheet with a picture of a sample anchor chart, a note-taking sheet for students to fill in while they watch the Grammar Rock video (all can be found on YouTube), a lyrics sheet so students can sing along, an activity sheet for students to do in partners or groups to practice working with the part of speech, and an independent worksheet for students to show what they have learned.
